My name is Tudor and I want to thank you for stopping by.
I had been entertaining the idea of making a blog for a long time but I always debated whether or not it would be useful or meaningful, not only for me, but also for you, reader. I did not want to share my thoughts or opinions just to feel that I have a voice. I do not seek acknowledgement or praise but rather the chance to provide another perspective on something, offer a bit of advice from my experience or, at least, bring a smile to your face. I want to add something to your life (and mine).
Now, even though I am not a native English speaker, I have always felt a strong propensity towards her, a desire to know and understand her better because she gave me so much – not only a way of seeing and experiencing the world far greater and totally different from the one I was getting, but also a way or connecting and interacting with people that otherwise would have remained strangers to me. So I began my quest of trying to get to know her more intimately when I was just a child and have worked and fought so that, twenty-something years later, a Bachelor degree in language and literature and a Master degree in communication practices it felt like I was (almost) there and thought to myself maybe it’s time to officially invite her on a date…or more…
During my time at university I had the great opportunity of working as technical editor for the faculty student journal (Ro-Brit) so I have some experience with articles, both with writing and editing. My plan is to tackle many different and varied topics that interest me – from tech to gaming and esports, from arts and literature to movies and TV series, from social events to simple observations. Everything and anything can come up as a post (don’t worry, won’t spam posts or ramble endlessly to bore you). At the same time, I will try to mix and match the writing styles and hopefully not use the same postmodern stream of consciousness approach that a lot of other bloggers use (either by choice or unknowingly).
Oh, look at the time, I need to get ready…
Hope to see you again soon and in the mean time, think about what in your life still fills you with excitement…
